A2 Data Drive

A2 Data Drive at the University of Michigan is made up of undergraduate students of all backgrounds who are interested in learning about data and how to use it. Open to all students, A2 Date Drive host a variety of technical workshops and data dives/jams that aim to help students of all experience levels become comfortable with data collection, analysis, and presentation.

Artificial Intelligence Consulting Group

A.I. Consulting Group strives to develop undergraduate students of all backgrounds into effective and ethical consultants who can harness the capabilities of A.I. technology to be competitive in the growing technological workforce. Member of the team advise clients on the latest A.I. technology and integrate these tools into the client’s business systems.

Bio-Tech, Entrepreneurship, and Coding Organization

BECO is an entrepreneurship club at the University of Michigan comprised of undergraduate students with diverse backgrounds and interests.  Members have are able to learn about and expand skills related to biotech and coding through hands-on opportunities. BECO’s organization imitates a startup, constructed of sub teams that focus on research, business, and prototyping. The goal for each cohort is to create a product from start to finish and present it at competitions throughout the year.

Blockchain @ Michigan

Blockchain @ Michigan is an organization made up of undergraduate students interested in Blockchain. Members are provided with professional development opportunities alongside industry partners, educational resources with multidisciplinary facets, and hands-on learning opportunities through research and project development. The goal of the group is to ultimately provide students with diverse opportunities to become innovative leaders in both the professional and academic blockchain space.

Data Analytics Consulting Club

Data Analytics Consulting Club at the Ross School of Business is comprised of MBA students interested in learning and expanding analytics skills in Excel, SQL, Python, and Tableau. The organization provides real-world analytics experience to its members by matching members with organizations that have data-based business questions they are looking to solve. Members are also able to learn from some of the top Technology & Operations and Marketing faculty members in a small group environment.

 

 

Design+Business

Design+Business at the Ross School of business is open to MBA students with the goal of fostering design-thinking in their members when solving business challenges relating to a diverse corporations within the business and technology industry. D+B hosts design thinking education workshops and provides members with early access to courses led by top Michigan design thinking professors.

Girls Who Code Loop @ UM

Girls Who Code Loop at the University of Michigan is affiliated with the national organization, Girls Who Code. Members consist of undergraduate women who are interested in and tech, no matter the skill set, major, or previous exposure to tech.  Goals of the organization include working towards equalizing the difference in employment between genders in the tech world, teaching women technical programming/ coding skills, and to redefine the idea of what a programmer looks like.

Hack Blue

HackBlue is an organization open to undergraduate students at the University of Michigan who are interested in spreading knowledge and opportunities related to technology to all communities. The organization works to help spread interest in technology to communities outside the University through mentorship programs with young students in the local area. HackBlue also provides career development opportunities to members through networking and recruiting events that connect members with diverse tech companies.

InnovateBlue

InnovateBlue is University of Michigan’s hub for entrepreneurship and innovation. Innovate Blue helps turn ideas into action by supporting, connecting, and expanding the Michigan entrepreneurial network and community. The the goal of the InnovateBlue is to embrace entrepreneurship from all angles — from engineering and research, to art and design, health and social development, and everything in between.

MEG Consulting

MEG Consulting is a University of Michigan pro-bono, undergraduate student-run professional consulting organization dedicated to serving the Ann Arbor community. MEG provides high quality consulting services that span a wide array of specialties, including financial planning, marketing, operations, strategic planning, and technology consulting. MEG Consulting works with companies of all sizes, from local start-ups to large tech firms like Amazon and Facebook.

Michigan Data Science Team

Michigan Data Science Team ( MDST ) is open to all undergraduate students at the University of Michigan who are interested in learning about data science. MDST is dedicated to educating students about the practical applications of data science through team projects, coding workshops, and social events throughout the semester.

The Tech Club at Ross is offers programs, events, and resources to their members that connect MBAs with the tech companies  they are interested in working with and learning about.
