Established in 2023, Business+Tech foresaw the importance of establishing AI literacy amongst students and decided to launch Ross School of Business’s first AI conference. Since then, the annual AI Forum has become a must-attend convening place for students, faculty, staff, and industry to get a crash course on AI.

Registration opens mid-October. Sign-up for our mailing list to be the first to know when registration opens.

What to expect

A crash course on AI featuring experts from operations to product to sales who bring their insights and expertise to panel discussions and hands-on workshops.

Hands-on Workshops

Not your traditional style conference. We emphasize hands-on learning by delivering a range of workshops (101, 201, and 301) that are catered to every skill level. You’ll not just learn about AI, but understand how it can be your teammate in work and life.

Leading, Relevant Perspectives

Our keynote, panelists, and speakers are sourced from Big Tech, local Detroit Start-ups, and U-M research departments bringing you access to the latest trends in AI. You’ll walk away with an understanding of how AI is shaping a wide-variety of industries and job functions.

Real-World Application

We offer a self-paced business challenge, called Hack the Case, that blends business knowledge and technical application. Participants practice tech skills, apply business expertise, and earn cash prizes.
