What We Do

A 6-week challenge designed to mimic a real-world +tech team of product managers, technical architects, UX/UI designers, project managers, and business analysts, where teams of multidisciplinary students generate +tech solutions within four tracks: fintech, healthtech, sportstech, and general tech.

A half-day crash course on an emerging +tech topic featuring experts from operations to product to sales. They reveal the depth and breadth of the +tech landscape and take a daunting topic such as GenAI and make it more approachable and understandable for everyone.

A collection of videos, podcast episodes, and short-form articles compiled into a bi-weekly newsletter called the +Tech Download. The digital content demystifies emerging technologies like Blockchain or GenAI and reveals untold stories of U-M alumni working in +tech to showcase that +tech is truly for everyone.

A week-long series of workshops geared towards advancing data analytics skills through a +tech lens. Led by Ross faculty and industry experts, students are taught key +tech tools such as SQL and Tableau.

A hackathon–style competition where interdisciplinary teams of students use data as the primary basis for developing creative solutions to real-world problems. Past competition themes have been on carbon emissions, the flight industry, and U-M football ticketing.

A virtual conference drawing in over 30 speakers representing the growing world of sports technologies. Featured speakers from companies like ESPN, FitX, and NFL share expertise on topics about pursuing careers in sports and the use of healthtech in sports.
