Maria Sucgang
Co-Founder & CEO — Remotify
Philippines
Remotify is an online job board for employers to hire remote employees from Philippines, home to a growing English-speaking skilled workforce. Maria Sucgang found the motivation to create Remotify during the pandemic when she realized how the phenomenon had opened doors to globalization and digitalization. She was moved by the dire working conditions of her fellow Filipino workers who acted as gig workers without any employment on record — paid directly by their foreign clients but without job security, social contribution, a supportive work environment, or legal financial records.
With Remotify, Sucgang sets out to provide Filipino employees with respect and security by creating a one-stop HR platform for foreign employers. Remotify acts as the Employer of Record and takes a human and holistic approach to managing business operations — ensuring that it benefits the staff, clients and even the Philippines as a whole.

Sarah Sebti & Sawsen Rezig
Co-Founders; CEO & CTO — ShareID
France
If you need inspiration on how to use real-life problems into successful business ideas, look no further than ShareID. Sarah Sebti, co-founder of the online identification verifying agency, ShareID says that the concept was born out of ‘personal frustration’ when she was unable to prove her identity online to regain access to her bank accounts. In 2020 Sarah joined hands with Sawsen Rezig to build a company that can facilitate real-time, on-demand verification of user identities using AI-based user assistance. The data that is procured from the user for verification is converted to a homomorphic hash and is stored in the server memory and the actual data is wiped off, thus maintaining the user data privacy.
