For us, tech isn’t an industry, it’s a mindset.
Business+Tech is building a stronger and more connected tech community at U-M and beyond. Our vision is to develop and support a community of students, faculty, and industry leaders that contribute to making tech accessible for all.
Technology has a profound impact on business — shaping the way it is conducted, how products and services are developed and offered, and how people interact with organizations. We believe tech is a significant enabler of value creation and innovation in business today and that now is the time to build a better world within the intersection of business and tech.
The Team
The initiative is led by the following team members with 50 years of experience working in tech, business, and higher education. Business+Tech also recruits around ten students each year from all schools and colleges to support our programs as part of the +Tech Scholars Program.
